Guys That famous outfit called TII went from long term buy 1 March 2012 @ Price $1.355 To Hold on 3 April 2012 @ Price $1.52 to suggest Sell @1.42.

They cited that new management may well be bidding on own or in a consortium for Sydney desalination plant and would need a CR and cited debt. Focus and a whole lot more for their reasoning.

I subscribe but have always ignored their recommendations on Infrastructure:

1. APA sell and ceased coverage in March 09 @ $2.64 - OOPS
2. ENV buy for yield April 08 @ 76c then sell 3 Feb 09 sell and ceased coverage @30c. - OOPS
3. If you looked at their article on 10 sep 07 on income securities you would be horrified Timbercorp , great southern and wilmott pines.
4. They dont like Telys S4 either dont have much faith in management.

Really good value pickers but I dont see how you can come to their conclusion on SKI based upon as they put it the diversification process. You have not seen the parties they may bid with , you dont have any view as yet on who would be the operator etc etc yet you just say sell. well based upon how bad some of the shares have done after they suggested sell (especially in their buy for yield portfolios) I am not surprised it got the head for the exit sign.

I would assume a few others followed as these types of shares are balanced between buyers and sellers and any movement will trigger others as well as the MAQ downgrade.

I took up a few more @ 1.37

I never sold ENV and still held APA until recently.
