Life Sciences were the underwriters to the share issue in June last year. See Optiscan's ASX advice of 9th. July, 2015 when then advised of 8,528,074 shares being issued but a shortfall of 5,273,419 shares to be taken up by the underwriter. That would have cost Life Sciences $263,670 (@ 5cents per share). The shareholder in Life Sciences P/L is Jeremy Baldock who was, and I suppose still is, associated with Bell Potter in Perth.
So by coming aboard again as the underwriter he still has faith in the project. He will of course have the right to take up the entitlement on the 5,273,419 shares previously acquired through the underwriting - unless, of course, he has sold some off in the meantime.
