Mate, if you are going to Singapore and Hong Kong (and btw "South Asia" generally means India ad Pakistan), you are highly unlikely to have any tummy trouble whatsoever.
I've lived in Singapore for 15 years and think the only time I've had any trouble with the food was in a village in Kalimantan, i.e. a completely different country (Indonesia).
