no comments here on what I thought was a good result and, probably more significantly, signs that better times are ahead. SDF was also reasonably upbeat. Both seem well-managed businesses, that investors have perhaps got bored with.

I can't imagine what people would find boring about a business such as AUB Group, which has done so well over time for its shareholders.

I don't know how many times I see good-quality, well-managed companies, that generate significant wealth for their owners over time, and yet the threads of such companies are totally silent.

And yet some of the most spurious, speculative rubbish stocks have vast followings.

Not that I'm complaining... I kind of prefer it this way.
