I don't disagree with that, but they have set themselves up to make the target they have set, not the market. If they miss a target that they re-iterated multiple times they would hit and they got board sign off on it doesn't say much about their ability as managers. And as I said, in a business that derives a lot of its profit based on non-disclosed assumptions that can be massaged, management need a high level of creditability and trust. Remember CCP back in 2007 when it almost blew itself up? These are risky businesses, because we never really know what happens inside the black box, we just see the end result.
