The company has already stated that in the first third of the half they are on track not only to make up the shortfall in H1 but also achieve the full year forecast.
That is why they are very confident of making the full year guidance.
The CEO and founder has more knowledge of this company & it's potential performance than any outside analyst or commentator possibly could.
So it cones down to a simple question do you believe he is being honest or not?
If the answer is no then you should walk away now because you should never hold shares on companies that you don't trust the CEO.
I believe he is being honest & telling and truth in what he believes the performance of the company will be in the next 4 months, if they fail to reach the forecast i don't believe it will be because of unrealistic expectations on their behalf. The company has consistently over achieved it's guidance every year in part by not having unrealistic expectations based on their experience in running the company.
