Having read through the whole transcript it's clear the mngt have said we don't care what H1 looks like we're focussing on the full year. I can sympathize with that & fully support their focus on long term prospects vs short termism but the markets are way too fickle and ARE short term focussed.
I just hope they aren't forced to do an equity raising anytime soon!

I'm very comfortable with my sizeable investment even if today's movement wiped out all my gains ytd on my whole portfolio.
i suspect we will see PNC shoot up the shorted shares list in the next update so i'm not expecting a recovery in the sp until the full year results are out.
