It was in a Bonus Report, an AGM Report or an interview that MO said something to the effect of how good CCE was in navigating the bureaucratic and political jungle that exists in Australia.
It would seem that CCE and LLC share the same philosophy and a similar skill set.
While it is extremely frustrating to all of us to have waited so long for this philosophy to bear fruit, a glimmer of light has appeared at the end of the tunnel.
Both Federal and State Governments have a lot to gain from indigenous Australian's partaking in employment and wealth creating enterprises.
Small renewable energy projects are the ideal vehicle with which to take advantage of the opportunities and support that is becoming available, especially for remote locations in Australia.
I have worked in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities where primary produce has been tried as the vehicle to establishing income producing enterprises.
In many of the cases that I have seen, they have failed. They have failed not because they have not been able to grow, catch or gather the various products, but because they are unable to economically get their products to market because of the tyrrany of distance. Many remote communities become isolated during the wet season.
With renewable energy, enterprises other than primary produce could be considered.
I will leave it up to you to consider what those enterprises could be, but in a digitally connected world, anything should be possible.
