Thought I would provide an illustrative example on the short squeeze for HVN.
Shares outstanding 1.1b
Percentage of aggregate shares short 10.09% (as per ASIC) which represents 111m total shares short (10.09% x 1.1b)
Average daily volume = 5m
Buy back shorted stock = total short / average daily volume
= 111m / 5m
= 22 days
This means it will take 22 days for all shorts to be covered lol.
Good luck getting out at a good exit price.
