I think the whole housing bubble and a big reversal is all scare mongering. I work in banking and i can tell you for a fact its as solid as a rock right now. Won't reverse in the next 2 years atleast. APRA is curbing growth by increasing lending requirements and all the background assessment is done on affordability rates much higher than rates right now show we can withstand rate hikes. And if housing remains strong so will consumer spending.
