At face value to a small time investor issuing shares to "Institutional and Sophisticated Investors" at an 18.5% discount sounds "strange" (had trouble with what adjective was appropriate here).
Perhaps there is an explanation coming as to why it was not offered to existing shareholders who from this thread seemed to be in the mood for a CR that could well have exceeded $1.5m?
Should there be some more explanation? If the placement was beneficial to and did not disadvantage shareholders maybe remirez would not have been lost to us?
