"This company has the Cerro Negro depsoit in Argentina.
The gold is close to the surface, easy to mine and near exisitng infrastructure - no impediments to building a plant.
This deposit, which is open-ended, is at the moment 200m x 150m x 500m in size. Multiply that by 2.7 for specific gravity (turns square meters of dirt into tonnages).
150 x 200 x 500 x2.7 then multiply it by an average of 3 grams per tonne gold and divide by 30 to turn grams into ounces.
150 x 200x 500 x 2.7 x 3 and divide by 30 = 4,050,000
This is a 4m plus ounce deposit....and still open-ended.
4m ounces times a profit margin of at least AUD$250 per ounce and you have over $1bn in profit.
Andean has a market cap. of $95m and is holding $10m in cash."
Grab a pencil and work that out.
Cheers Lobster
