So you reckon the high dollar and low metals prices had absolutely nothing to do with it. I think when it all comes out in the wash the ANZ will figure prominently as one of the major contributors of this train wreck.
Im not trying to defend management but to lay the blame solely on them is simplistic and narrow minded.
I have not read one single article by anyone commentating on this issue that lays any blame on management, i have only been able to find reports that low metals and high dollar being the major cause, along with the ANZ taking all the sale of lounge lizard which a portion was earmarked to pay creditors. Maybe you should take up running a mining company seeing as you have been able to so easily pinpoint the trouble.
You forget that you are now blaming the very people that made this company into a $1.5b company from a value of $5m Do you think they suddenly got brain damage? or could it be that that a lot of the problems were simply out of there control. Taking a look at the remuneration packages it is quite plain they were being paid less than many of their peers.
Lets get some sensible debate on this and not just a load of mud slinging without facts.
