ozblue. At least you recognise you are one of the scaremongers here.
Nevertheless I agree 100% with what you say below:
'Until the June quarterly I was bullish, but thecompany produced numbers that indicated what we were told half way through the quarter were not entirely accurate. They also failed to mention any change in circumstances until the quarterly came out. I'm referring here to the recovery % of gold. In May we were told 90-92%, yet the quarter ended up averaging 85%. That's a huge turn around, and despite continuous disclosure rules, MML failed to indicate to the market when the turn around happened. I can't trust management when they fail to report what's happening, especially when the market seems to know in advance, by falling during that time ie before the quarterly came out.'
but for the past 2 months things have changed at Medusa, in particular the CEO has been sacked or resigned - leaving in August, and results meeting guidance for a change, and the outlook have improved measurably which either you have not read or have not understood. Because all your posts have the same theme - company can't be trusted, no progress, no value here at the present price therefore indulge yourself in further scaremongering - what the hell, the company deserves a good kicking for years of poor communication and failure the meet forecasts.
'The company does not release an AISC figure, despite it being a norm across the industry, yet seems to want to continue with cash costs, not a true indicator (nor does AISC tell the full picture, but it is better than CC).'
Again I agree with you and all the other investors who post that CC only reporting is outdated and needs to come into line with what most other miners are doing. But instead of using this as just another stick to beat the company with on these boards I have done something about it. Yes! I have written to the company specifically on this subject and received no reply ..... until today. With an email response and public news release quoting ASIC costs for the very first time. Under the previous CEO both of these responses would have been impossible.
So the company is changing and improving in every way yet you and probably 95% of the posters here ignore entirely the good things going on and post only negative, biased, and outdated comment that give this board a wholey unbalanced, unfair and twisted picture.
btw. Have you any prediction for when the next cyclone is likely to hit Mindanao (not on the normal path of cyclones in this region) and how production and the company is going to be devastated? Thanks in advance for this forecast so I will know when to sell.
