Yes I know this this is why I mentioned about affinity capture (this is what EX1 patent application is on) not ultracentrifugation. There is a lot of prior art in this area which makes it hard to protect your technology from someone working around your patents.
It is is a bit silly to say untracentrifugation takes 150 days as the limitation with ultracentrifugation is capacity. It only takes a few hours to separate the exosomes with an ultracentrifuge, the problem is you can't load much on the rotors and so you have to do a lot of runs to collect the same amount of material.
Somewhat off topic I always hated ultracentrifugation when I was a student as every time I went to use the department's ultracentrifuge some idiot had bent the spindle by not balancing the rotor before using it
