Hi iam. Steel undies on mate!! For all those people saying algo's are fine, nothing wrong, get used to them blah blah blah. Ah, hello, wake up call. Was an accident waiting to happen. Its a pity the markets were already jumping at shadows and now this "trading error" set off triggers all over the place by "preprogrammed traders", everyday punters would have been cuaght up in it all, by the time the problem was realised and the markets turned who gets left behind holding the baby, thats right your everyday mugs. Left holding a large loss only to watch the market turn back up just as fast and faced with the decision of whether or not to buy back in with a smaller amount of shares. I hope the "trader" gets dragged over the coals! Time to reassess the way the markets are run if this is able to happen. Cripes if i tried to sell $1000 dollars worth of shares for 5-10% less than the current SP NAB will reject the order as it will be seen as SP manipulation.
