The reason for VOC selling their stake in AMM could not be more obvious. That 10% of AMM shares can now be voted in favour of the scheme of arrangement. Previously, they could not be voted because VOC could not vote on their AMM shareholding due to conflict of interest.
This sale is purely and simply to give the scheme a chance to reach the magic 75%. If you haven't voted your AMM shares in favour of the scheme yet, go and do it now.
