Hard to see the scheme getting across the line on the basis of the number of votes required for the affirmative. I tend to think the biggest problem they face is to get sufficient shareholders to vote. To get 75% from the available 80% just to vote would be remarkable. My thoughts are, that even if the deal doesn't proceed, that AMM is still a great investment - it certainly was before the deal was proposed. Also, it is hard to believe that there won't be other suitors after AMM if the current deal falls over. It has also been suggested that AMM could takeover VOC. Whatever happens, me thinks there is still a long road before this saga finishes.
