I'm afraid I don't know! Perhaps the Board (or OCP) thought that his $375,000 salary and 6,500,000 shares (worth $2,200,000) wasn't enough? (although now that he has a full time Walford Creek General Manager, Tim Benfield, working for him, one would think life wouldn't be too tough).

We just hope that he's spending his paid time working on AML (and not something else).
We were very surprised when a SH asked him a question at a previous AGM and after initially responding that he was only working for AML, the Chairman then whispered in his ear and Collins then changed his response to say that he was also working for Balmain Coal (but not during normal business hours!.....)?
