Cancelling the shares should not be as hard as one thinks and they should at least try IMO. I believe there are definate grounds to remove those shares and wouldn't be at all surprised that if those can be removed then so can others. The only way to avoid it is to rearrange the terms of the offer so that it reflects the true value of the aquisition. Unfortuantely based on the info already out there we have already paid too much for just 32% ($3.18M)
Which brings me to my next point. I had posted some of the information here on previous exploration and believe that AGU now possess that information. Make of it what you will but I was far from thrilled.
I dont believe Amitan shareholders pooled as much money together as has been stated by posters and others and I wont change my mind without proof. The only way they paid over 10c was if they initially issued (for examples sake) 6M and restructured before to 60M before AGU made the offer (that =1c). DS is just a fall guy in many ways and everyone who participated is to blame. If people finally opened their eyes and are going to make a genuine go at it.....well.....better late than never I spose. This the ONLY CHANCE to get it right. No BS this time, one foot wrong and I wont be waiting around to realise the obvious like last time before I start pointing fingers.
There will more eyes on it this time around and the last board is mostly to blame for that.
How they decide to proceed with this acquisition will be the litmus test to determine if they are in fact different from the old crew or not. I can't wait, the sooner the better.
GPN YRR and AGU all need to give a clear statement about their future direction and aims and how they plan to achieve them.
I also think they need to justify having as many directors as they do.
I truly hope that things have changed and would love to part of a positive company (or 3) that actually intends on having a proper crack at it. If then they fail, so be it.
Laters. Have a good weekend.
