The housing problem isn't goint to be US exclusive in my view. If we trully are seeing the start of stage two of the GFC then watch the problems unfold in our own housing market.
The 'prop up' by our Government by way of the First Home Owners Grant will indeed turn out to be one of the cruellest schemes ever.
As interest rates increase those who are right on the limit of repaying debt will be stretched too far AND as property prices plummet along with all other assets people will be in sorts of bother!
I feel that the local property market may very well become a smorgasboard of bargains for those who are chased up?
