Just my opinion, but taking the perspective of opportunity, this could allow Kathmandu to really grow its online sales, selling through its own website is not very efficient imo.
Taking the perspective of threat; Amazon will bring with it more competition via better known brands such as North Face and Columbia (cheaper probably too).
