In 2003/04, they discovered up-and-coming yellowcake. The price rose mainly on expectation; once they started production, mining costs and hiccups quickly reminded punters that there is a difference between exploration hopes and operational realities. Happens all the time. Ask Twiggy Forrest about Anaconda.
For PDN, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they discovered a new bandwagon to jump onto. How about hemp? Or any of the new darling metals: Co, Li, Va, ...
