Brenno, you don't apply for them. You get them automatically. They are your "rights" as a shareholder. You have received one right for every two shares held. If you do not want to take up the current CR offer, you may sell your rights (ALTR) on market to other people who are not current shareholders but want to buy your rights to the current offer (if there are buyers). The rights stop trading on Monday the 27th and will then probably disappear from your account.
