Uranium mining policy will be fought within the Labor factions, and given that the right faction currently hold sawy on a national level, the vote will almost certainly go to move away from the three mines policy, which as many Labor members have said over the past year, is completely illogical and doesn't achieve the goals it set out to achieve when it was first conceived.
The only question is whether or not the Western Australian government will abide by what has been voted on at national conference. But given political happenings in WA at the moment its hard to know what will happen, or if the current Government will even still be in place in 3 or 4 months time.
