When companies have cash in the bank, the amount of cash does not always represent the true value in the shareprice, as you are saying.
Investors rather see the cash invested in assets that will make the cash grow.
With regard of the Cash that EXS has, and which gives a Cash backing around the 64 cts per share, I believe that the market undervalues this company.
If this was not the case, and the true value of the company was it cash backing only , any person could just walk in and pay the cash equivalent and have the assets of this company for free.
And these assets are, a first class management team with a provent track record, a first class exploration tenements with proven resources and drill results, a royalty stream, and a producing gold mine.
Exco is cheap, and it does not matter which way you look at it. The market just does not seem to be willing to do its homework, regarding the tremendous asset value that EXS represent.
Only the first payments of royalties, drilling results, extension of white dam goldmine ect will probably wake this lazy market up.
And ofcourse the announcement of the the ex-dividend date will wake up a few more punters.
good luck
