"Sunshine, happy days and good times"
Ccl has a very repetitive history and you can confirm the nature of its business by reviewing the dozens of overseas equivalents and their performance over the past 50 years. I think bloater will be laughing all the way down to $9- over the next 12 months with a probable short term dip lower than this, but it's hard to be certain so I'll continue to buy and hold on the way down. Next buy is $11. Possibly holding 50% of my portfolio in ccl if they go low enough.
The market is predictably hasty when a company like ccl provide a downgrade. First they see a "value" buy then they "realise" it's actually going to declare a reduction in profit for a year or two, followed by an assumption that this means it is on the verge of bankruptcy then it'll return to normal for a few years and repeat.
