In Thailand, once Central buys, expect CP Group and TCC-ThaiBev to also be in the hunt for targets. Separately, challenges aside, it seems strange the lack of commitment from Zalora to Thailand (and Vietnam), both which has the population numbers to back up a large business. The price tag of $10m seems a rather paltry sum, unless there is some follow up deal in which Central is involve with Zalora on a regional basis (but locks up Thailand and Vietnam to themselves).
