Just read some of your posts re the Aussie flag which I agree with.

The Aussie flag means a lot to me.

as do Aussie Companies and all things Australian.

That's why I support Australian Companies such as WOW, Coles in their sectors.

WOW, Coles pay Australians, Dividends, pay Taxes for Infrastucture, Social Security welfare etc.
I know ALDI pay taxes also and they claim they reinvest their profit back into additional new stores but when the stores are built to saturation point, then think about the profit going back to the Family in Germany! One can also say they employ Aussies, yes they do but look how they skimp on that!

Being patriotic to the flag is the correct thing as you point out but perhaps you could do the same to Australian Companies and show the same respect.?

I'm not suggesting anyone buy shares in WOW, Coles but surely one should shop in the Australian owned Stores. Support of everything Australian not just the flag, is true patriotism imo

or one could possibly be seen as a hypocrite at times imo

WOW, Coles forever, Aldi can go take a running jump for all I care and as I have posted before, I'll starve before I ever shop at ALDI!
