yes, it does happen - LOM options were recently repackaged/extended. They were expiring end of August and option holders were given the option of buying 1 new option for 2 held options with an extra 8 months expiry date for .001 each. I doubt NRR will do something like that as it's a bit too close to expiry and I don't see their need. If they expire worthless, there is still money in the bank.

@Techmeister, the oppie expiry itself is what I see as the catalyst. I've been watching the movement and had the China debacle not havoced last Monday, I think the share price would have held the 6's and be pushing into the high 7's about now. I am interested to see if the Biotech convention gives them a little nudge back on track.
Interestingly, there are not many shares for sale, so when it goes, it could really go, especially with the exceptional quality of the tech.
