JK has to be careful what he says as, he may think based on feedback from APRA that they are going to issue it next week, or the week after for example but ultimately he doesn't make the decision APRA do. Same as if he says the words "in the next month". He is then tying himself down to a short time frame that he doesn't have complete control over. He may well be just being careful by using the words "couple of months" to provide flexibility and be conservative.

Also there are a few moving parts involved. I think they need the AFSL sign off from ASIC first before APRA can then sign off the ADI and then RBA sign of the ESA.

So we may seen the AFSL over the next few weeks/month and then ADI etc. to follow after that.
