Fortunately trading/ investing isn't a zero sum game.
My entry and impending exit from AKK will create opportunity for others in AKK as the SP will start to have good volume and movement going through it rather then it just languishing.
Trader psychology is so important and often underestimated when considering its influence upon technical analysis.
Also, the only lambs to the slaughter will be the shorters who failed to exit and resorted to SP manipulation to portray AKK SP weakness as a last ditched effort to hold the SP down.
Saying that, weak hands on the buy side who fall for such shorter games and end up selling for 0.6c or who are influenced into the 0.7c range only hurt their sell side buddies as it can cause a slide and sellers are back at square one.
If external oil stays above $40 and if sellers don't get bluffed and start dropping to 0.6c or cramming into 0.7c due to perceived weakness the SP will be well in to the 0.8 to 0.9 range next week. With the average end of day volume sitting at 3mil the 0.7c sellers will be eaten up by Tuesday. (Seller discipline has been holding up fairly well so far)
Upward momentum will only build beyond the 0.8c area if buyers know sellers are holding strong and there are no weak hands. That's when a buyers surge will occur and we have happy days.
Personally if I currently had a 0.7c sell order in right now I would be moving it back to 0.8c so I could gain an extra 17% profit and to assist with the positive momentum surge which benefits all sellers.
God knows if I continue to see common sense among AKK sellers and strong seller collectivism rather than individualism I will move my sell order back to 0.9c from its current 0.8c. Ps I am not promoting collision.
With the current large buy side bias volume building it is a sellers market and the choice is with sellers if they want to create a positive buyers surge.
Ps my Lambo will be black - of course!
Finally, can I encourage more AKK sellers to talk up the positive things that are about to happen for AKK.
Do not underestimate the power HotCopper can have on a SP. Hundreds of potential buyers of an equity peruse HC before considering buying a stock. If I see little interest or talk about a stock on HC that I am interested in, it often stops me from buying as I assume sentiment for the stock is low and it has potential to languish if I buy.
