I think the media and analysts here in Ozytraylia are just sulking over VTI. They were not given any special treatment with special presentations. Hence, they know nothing. And when one knows nothing, then what can one write. A case in point is the quite recent Pierpoint article that can only rehashed some few years ago information in the most negative light while at the time, so much good things were happening and he did not even mention any of them. WHY? Because he did not know that the good things are happening. And of course, a bit of research work is beyond him, hence his most outdated article.

Having said all that, I don't really mind. Like it or not, as VTI performs, it will ultimately need to be included into the ASX 100 in time. And when that happens, those fund managers who need to get some will find that the shares are even rarer than the Ashes tickets and certainly will cost much more...:)
