‘Mid stream’????? It should have been generating revenue over 5 years ago. That’s the problem. Based upon past experience, there is nothing to suggest the future will change with him at the helm. You’ll end up having a 85 year old MD and wondered what could have been if you had the right person steering the ship all those years ago.
MT can sit on the board as a director with a new CEO (as long as he agrees to not interfere too much). I think the reason is purely financial. Probably can’t afford to live off a salary of $35k (+ consulting fees of course which seems to be the norm at APG).
