Agree Mongrel. And there are a few other cashed up 'buyers' of financially constrained small miners or explorers seeking cash for start-up's out there in the market, looking for good diversification opportunities. So chances are that any potential acquisitions may have more than one buyer/s sniffing around.
If no decision is made on an acquisition say over the next 6 months, I agree with charchar - i'd be betting they will restart KI. It's high grade will be too tempting to mothball, along with the potential of earning something from the logistics hub offering.
Time will tell. Twiggy's saying the io price will fall further short term so a potential buying op may present over the next quarter or so.
