We are a little fish in a very big pond

pe 981, I agree with your point as well, from my experience ( and I as only a little fish) before when I was a FMS novice it was fun the share price moved a lot, and got you excited at times.

I first came in when the share price was 0.058 cents I bought a million shares, not long after that the SP rocketed to 0.086 cents, I bought some more, feeling that I might miss out. I didn't miss out the SP went down again, but not to my entry price.

Over time the SP went to around 0.13 cents a share, then to around (I forget without looking it up) I think either 17 cents or 19 cents a share. On October 2009,a capital raising was issued around 0.13 cents a share, I heard that many people sold some shares at the top price and bought back at the lower price of 0.13 cents. In my novice days I wasn't experienced enough to understand that I could have made a profit then, but I kept my shares and went with the full capital raising.

Over the years even though I didn't get out at the MMK take over offer.  I had sold enough to make a good profit, and ran with the rest. I didn't purchase any really cheap shares, however purchased enough reasonable priced shares to take my average price down.

I am ok with capital raising as long as the SP moves up and down with a lot of volume, so you can buy or sell. The risk for reward is for each of us to decide. For me I decided that long ago when I rejected the MMK offer and stayed.

I now find that by staying in FMS, via these blogs, we have a strong band of like minded shareholders, firstly with FMSU and most of us being friends of FMSU. FMSU is still there in all of us, we can reach out and personally talk to others at times should we need to, which I find is really great.

The thing I find the best is that we come from all walks of life and all ages, myself I am 70, and have been retired since about 2006. So FMS is a very good interest for me, sometimes keeping me very occupied doing what I am doing now. (Writing this blog)

I find the people who we see in these pages, we don't know who they are but we know that the people who comment on these blogs are very interesting. They have varied opinions, which I think is great, because sometimes our brain might go down one track, and someone might say something that I hadn't thought of, which is good.

For me now, I am in all the way or for a very good share price, what else can I do at my age.
