I'm sure it takes all the Directors to agree to the idea of property development, whether they are independent or Chinese controlled. The two Directors up for re-election haven't shown us minority shareholders that they are truly independent as surely you wouldn't remain on a BOD if you didn't agree with each major decision that is being made, if you do then you're just in it for the fees you're being given. As a Director you would have to be lacking in business acumen to agree with this decision or be totally inexperienced or just not independent IMHO.
