IMO, once shareholders become use to analysing a public announcement as a legal document, the potential facts, evidence, timeframes, definitive statements etc are overwhelming.

For example, check this paragraph from SLA yeserday.

It basically states nought IMO and again leaves shareholders floundering. IMO, many only see blue sky while others only notice that the company has not promised or guaranteed anything.

    1. "The price per course of USD1,125 for Ropren® in Russia that was signalled in the Chairman’s letter in the 2008 Annual Report has been confirmed."

    Confirmed by whom?

    2. "Written agreements with nine hospitals in St Petersburg for supply at that price are currently being finalised."

Is the agreements an enforceable contractor and/or MOU?

No mention of quantity as in supply.

If the agreements are being finalised what is the timeframe for conclusion?

How many times have these 9 hospitals been mentioned in prev years?

    3. "A number of important initiatives in relation to Ropren® distribution throughout the remainder of Russia are close to finalisation and details will be revealed when documentation is complete."

What intitatives? Why are they "important"?

    Russia is rather large.

    When will they be finalised?

    What documentation?

This sentence is a perfect example.
