I only very recently bought a few shares and knew the directors held a huge amount of stock. I am not knocking any of them, most people who invest in resources would love to do what NM has done. But doing something you love can be different from doing something purely to make money, and as directors/s they have a duty to look after all shareholders. It would be great to see them monetise the SOLG stake and reinvest in other smaller projects with higher returns over shorter periods. I get the feeling they would make a lot more money if things where more focused rather than a kid in candy shop type approach.
