Anyone got any thoughts on how Gina taking a stake in AQC might...

Anyone got any thoughts on how Gina taking a stake in AQC might effect RIO's plans. It would not effect the current signed deal for Mt Hillalong but is this all that RIO wants from AQC?? We dont know what their plans are and whether they may want more tenaments that AQC control or possibly they may consider a takeover.

This is pure speculation and RIO may have no other plans for AQC above and beyond the current deal but if they did and out of the blue Gina has started buying up shares in AQC then they may need to reconsider any strategic plans as Gina may spoil the party.

This would be a great senario for holders if we had Gina Rhinehart and RIO both competing for control of AQC.

As I said, pure speculation but hey who knows??

On a side note I dont think that it makes alot of sense for Gina to take a small stake in AQC because she thinks it is a good investment to help fund her retirement. She is not like us, well me anyway, looking for a good investment or trade, she controls/buys companies so their has to be some sort of strategic plan here. Imo it is slowly slowly atm so as not to blow the top off the SP but Im thinking were there is smoke there is fire.

Interesting times ahead, I wouldnt be unloading shares at around 4c but each to their own.
