    That'd be right

Merge the stronger, well run, DLS with the poorly run BPT.

How is that in the best interest of the shareholder.

I agree BPT are not the best fit. They have made some really poor decisions for their shareholders. Just because they have farmin arrangement with DLS etc does not qualify them as the best suitor and it certainly doesn't mean they're the ones who have been wearing the pants in the relationship. Bigger doesn't mean better and who's to say that Brad wouldn't have been able to run any merged company. In fact I would go as far as saying that a merged entity under Brad Lingo would have been the only acceptable option.

The fact is we only have an inkling on what DLS and STO have discovered so to say DLS couldn't have made in the CB on its own at this point is not correct. What we really need is the reserve update. Is it being suppressed???? Furthermore, when the RDS acquisition goes through (pretty sure it's still on) then they will be the new shareholder of the 8% of DLS - may or may not be a factor. I know it's not as significant but RDS are trying to expand their capacities as well. I agree eventually DLS may have had to explore other opportunities but maintain they never had, and probably will never have now, the opportunity to realise their full potential with what they have now.

As I said someone somewhere in this will be in a position to manoeuvre this thing around for their own benefit. We can only hope it doesn't go unchallenged. We will be the last to know and not benefit as much had we been left alone. Not sure what the obsession is with dividends from a company that is developing and maturing.

I am extremely disappointed that Brad was not given the opportunity to make a final statement. It's not normal and reeks of ego centric behaviour.

Obviously stuff going on behind the scenes which we will have no real insight. Who predicted the oil price fall...ahhhh no one, who predicted the stake by SVW...... ahhhh no one, who predicted Brad's departure.......ahhhh no one.  Who knows what's going to happen next.......ahhhhhh no one.

    Cheers
    BW
