It seems almost inevitable a much more attractive bid will emerge and it makes me scratch my head to ponder why shareholders would sell today at 41.5c. The upside is clearly 10c plus and the downside is 1.5c to the original bid at 40c.

Seems a no-brainer to me and I was very happy today to pick up another bunch of shares at 41.5c.

Incidentally the Santos AGM speeches (meeting Friday just gone) are interesting reading and tend to suggest they are the most likely player in this game.
