What is the difference between Space Fence, and the project that EOS is contributing to with Lockheed Martin?
This is what I got;
US Air Force gave 1 billion dollars to Lockheed Martin to develop radar based space tracking, called "space fence" and this will be able to track 200,000 objects.
The laser technology that EOS is developing with Lockheed Martin seems seperate from this, as it says it's a "compliment" to space fence.
What I'm wondering is; how many objects will EOS be able to track on their own? As this company mentioned in the first article "leolabs" has a belief they will be able to track 200,000 to incredibly small size. Which is the same as the space fence
How does EOS differentiate in this? Where do they fit in? I'm a little confused on this.
Cheers!
