    Why would anything need investigating? It’s round one.

    But I’m pretty sure all betting information is available to the afl if they want. I remember a few years ago Daniel Merret was changed up to play as a forward instead of full back by the coach in the lead up to the game. He told a few mates of this plan and they put some money on him for first goal, which he kicked. This set off an investigation because it was an unusual occurrence.

    I rarely gamble on afl, but I just think it’s such a hard game to attempt to fix overall results because of how many players would need to be involved. Loose lips would be inevitable. Spot bet fixing would be way more likely.

    Throwing around baseless allegations based simply on an unexpected result is ridiculous.
