Apparently Kevin Bartlett has flagged getting rid of the interchange system completely.
Absolutely spot on Kevin, the game has been hijacked by Demetriou, Malthouse, Sheedy and Co who pushed for this rubbish over the past decade or two.
Kevin says 6-8 reserves/substitutes on the bench, I think 4 would be the correct number.
Powers that be are recognising that the game is out of control at the moment and they now wish to turn back the clock.
Lets hope they push ahead and get some momentum/support for this urgently required correction.
If you want to watch basketball (crap game) then that's fine go ahead.
Also need to attend to the 50m penalty for the most farcical/trivial things, this changes games. Also the delberate out of bounds has now run out of control along with paying high tackles for no reason and also penalising the player going for the ball after a pack of ten players has jumped on his back when he has gone to ground under pressure (holding th ball - not).
Make the changes (really only fixing up your previous stuff ups} and then shut down the rules committee for 5 years.
Get rid of Demetriou/Mussolini (thats who he thinks he is) and we have half a chance
