PACIFIC STAR NETWORK (PNW) traders are like cats on a hot tin roof.
It started in July when the shares rose from 3.1c on July 3 to 7c onJuly 7 and the company felt it owed the ASX some explanation.
It said the board had noted the rise and various media reports concerning AFL radio broadcasting rights for 2007-12.
Pacific Star confirmed it was actively pursuing this opportunity.
There's been nothing from the company since but the shares have recently hotted up again.
The price rose five days last week from 7c to as high as 9.8c on Friday.
However, new doubts this week have seen the price fall again to 9c on Monday and further to 7.9c yesterday.
Back in its July statement Pacific Star said it expected that the outcome of the AFL broadcasting rights process may not be known until August.
However, according to the papers AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said this week it was "some weeks away".
