I think that as long as newbies research both the merits of the head stock for its investment potential and have an understanding of the mechanics and limitations of company options in general, then dipping the toes into them can be fun and profitable. I bought a few AEB at 2.3c and a bunch of AEBO at 0.3c. Quickly swapped the heads for options. Just have to be aware of the wider spread when planning an exit strategy. Just my 0.3c's worth
