The reason the company is in administration from my point of view is they are afforded the legal capacity/protection to deal with legacy issues holding them back with prior dealings with creditors and local government/contractors.
I think you will find that by doing this, shareholders and the company will come out of this with a profitable mine. John Lewis has most of his superannuation in this company.
