Okay, got the reason. CXY made a lengthy reply to the defense. The adjournment is a chance for them (defense) to digest that.

If I'm figuring this right it is that the lengthy reply was a reply to the defenses reply to CXY's amended statement of claim if one takes into account the last three adjournments.

So I guess that one could expect that the defense will have a reply to CXY's lengthy reply in upcoming Court date. We won't know for certain though until it occurs. The only good thing I can see at the moment is that the Court dates are occurring within a reasonable time frame.

The pot hasn't boiled yet, but it appears to be warming up. Not much comfort for those hanging on the result though.
