anyone care to offer any reasons as to why qgc have gone ahead in leaps and bounds over the past 5 years, while sgl have spun their tyres in the mud? the csiro have recognised sgl's acreage as being a world class energy asset, why then such poor performance over so many years?
5-6 years ago i viewed qgc as a poor cousin to sgl. however qgc are now capped at over $2 billion and in my eyes have proven to be a major embarrassment to former management of sgl. all i can put it down to is incompetent sgl management, from butcher/martino, to knights, to the more recent team.
surely ajl will be the last roll of the dice or shareholders would just pray for another offer from qgc.
